Profile
The Mishawaka Amphitheatre — “The Mish” to anyone local — is the musical heart of the Poudre Canyon, and has been for a century. It sits between granite walls and the Cache la Poudre, and when the sun drops and the stage lights come on, the music plays against the sound of the river running just behind the performers. It is not only a summer venue. The restaurant and bar are open daily with mountain favourites like Odell 90 Shilling ale-battered fish and chips and canyon burgers, and an afternoon on the outdoor deck over the river is hard to beat. The indoor Spokesman Stage carries smaller and winter sets. Canyon parking is very limited, so the venue runs a shuttle from Fort Collins — worth using.
