Creedmore Lakes
Three stocked little lakes in the forest north of Red Feather — brown, rainbow, and brook trout, and a short walk in.

The Creedmore Lakes are a cluster of three small lakes tucked into the Roosevelt National Forest north of Red Feather Lakes, up around 8,300 feet. The largest is only about 10 acres, so this is intimate, walk-and-wade kind of water — stocked with trout and quiet enough that you often have a lake to yourself.
You’ll find brown, rainbow, and brook trout here, and only non-motorized boats are allowed — a float tube or a canoe is perfect. The access road is rocky and washes out in spots, so without a high-clearance or 4x4 rig it is best to park along the road and walk the short trail in. Dispersed camping is scattered nearby; there are no facilities at the trailhead.
