This is a fishing-access point on the main Cache la Poudre River, in the Roosevelt National Forest at about 6,834 ft — one of the many places to drop down to Colorado’s only Wild and Scenic river and work its pocket water and runs for wild brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout.

For the full picture — the river’s Wild Trout stretches and special regulations, the seasons, and how it fishes — see our main Cache la Poudre River guide. Always be sure which stretch of water you are standing in before you cast.
